About the role

Stukent is a fast-growing Edtech company transforming the classroom with first-in-the-world Simternships and cutting-edge digital courseware. The State Adoptions Coordinator manages course submissions through state instructional materials review processes, including preparing and submitting materials, tracking review feedback, coordinating revisions, and ensuring each course progresses through every stage of review. This full-time position works closely with the Content & Curriculum team and Portfolio team to manage timelines, organize documentation, and keep submissions on track.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on state-specific instructional materials review requirements, timelines, and submission processes
  • Prepare, submit, and manage multiple Stukent course adoptions, including Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, and other CTE courses
  • Read and interpret state feedback, prepare responses, and coordinate revisions and resubmissions to meet approval requirements
  • Track all submission activities, required documentation, and follow-up actions through final approval and ongoing compliance
  • Interpret and accurately apply state-specific and CTE course standards throughout the submission and revision process
  • Develop and manage project timelines across multiple concurrent course submissions, proactively identifying and communicating risks or delays
  • Coordinate with Content, Portfolio, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to gather information and complete submission requirements
  • Provide regular status updates to the Portfolio lead, keeping them updated on status, roadblocks, and upcoming deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize and prepare approved courses for implementation with the Stukent platform
  • Attend relevant state curriculum standards board meetings and other required meetings in person as needed
  • Provide support to Portfolio and Content teams on other projects on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to: State standard research, Crosswalks, Pacing Guides, Platform Tagging, and other projects that would fall in the knowledge-base wheelhouse of this position
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across concurrent projects
  • Highly detail-oriented with the persistence to navigate complex, process-driven work through multiple rounds of review
  • Experience interpreting and applying curriculum standards (such as TEKS or similar); CTE experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while providing regular updates and collaborating with an internal manager and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with standards citations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with instructional materials review, curriculum development, educational publishing, or ed-tech is preferred
  • A background in curriculum, compliance, instructional design, educational publishing, or a related field is more relevant than sales or customer-facing experience
