The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at NHC Dickson is a leadership position aimed at ensuring quality care and fostering a positive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring patient care to ensure treatments and medications are administered as ordered.
• Conducting daily rounds to maintain up-to-date knowledge of patient status.
• Serving as a liaison between nursing staff and the Director of Nursing.
• Supporting the Director of Nursing in managing nursing services in a team-oriented setting.
• Providing leadership to nursing staff through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and long-term care regulations.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote high-quality care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals.
• Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment to support nursing operations.

Qualifications

• Tennessee RN License: Required and in good standing.
• Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Team Player: Compassionate and committed to patient care excellence.
• Experience: Previous leadership experience in LTC/SNF preferred but not required.
