( ADON ) Assistant Director of Nursing

About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a key leadership role in supporting the Director of Nursing and ensuring the highest quality of care within our skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Support compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
