Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and contraband searches before patient transfer to their designated unit.
- Communicate nursing hand-off information to the nursing department.
- Assist during downtime by making referrals to in-house physicians to assess qualification for admission.
- Provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to ensure loss of referrals is minimized.
- Monitor intake flow via dashboard.

Qualifications
- Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew under the Compact)
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
- Preferred: CPI Certification
