Admissions RN- Behavioral Health
Responsibilities
The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Fulltime Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team.
- Perform assessments and contraband searches before patient is transferred to their designated unit.
- Communicate Nursing hand off information to the Nursing department.
- Aid in ensuring down time by making referrals to in-house physicians to assess qualification for admission.
- Provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to minimize loss of referrals.
- Maintain Intake flow via Dashboard.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew-Compact)
- CPR or BLS certification
- Prior 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
- CPI Certification preferred

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.
