Admissions Representative/Registrar - Per Diem
About the Role
Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.
As a staff member providing support expertise, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in patient care and customer service by sharing your talent in your chosen field.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients by gathering and recording physician, patient, and payment responsibility information.
- Answer patient questions and provide hospital and hospital services information.
- Practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
- Consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospital’s mission statement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- One year of experience in a hospital admitting or medical business office.
- Computer experience preferred.
