About the role
Under direct supervision, recruit qualified candidates for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, professional manner. Provide information, guidance, and assistance to potential students on enrollment and admissions. Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and accreditation standards. Enroll only students who meet eligibility requirements as published in the college’s catalog.
Responsibilities
- Prospect/Student Interaction (90%)
- Take inquiry calls from potential students, providing information on programs, entrance requirements, curricula, and academic standards. Encourage qualified prospects to schedule interviews.
- Respond promptly to web inquiries and calls, delivering accurate program details.
- Make outbound calls to potential students who have expressed interest; participation in phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns is required.
- Generate new business by initiating unsolicited leads when not engaged with current inquiries.
- Follow up on inquiries that fail to schedule or attend interviews, as well as dropped or cancelled students, to address concerns.
- Interviews
- Schedule and conduct student interviews in compliance with company policy, including Financial Aid references.
- Use only approved company materials during interviews, adhering to stated policies and processes.
- Explain program offerings, matching college benefits to student needs, and advise on suitable programs based on qualifications and objectives.
- Ensure admissions management meets with potential students to discuss motivations and concerns.
- Mentoring and Guidance (5%)
- Provide information and advice on programs, eligibility, and admissions processes using established procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between students and campus, assisting with enrollment forms and compliance reviews.
- Partner with Finance to ensure high customer service during transitions and follow up on financial aid packaging.
- Mentor students to identify their skills and interests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues or escalating as needed.
- Administrative (5%)
- Accurately track all inquiries and admissions activity.
- Complete daily activity reports and ensure pre-start paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Maintain current and accurate records in the system.
- Attend and complete all required training and meetings as directed.
- Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus is required for collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by local leaders.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill key behaviors: dependability, teamwork, decision-making, communication, time management, work ethic, and accuracy.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Pay
USD $30 - $40 hourly.
Schedule
Full-time, on-site, up to 5 days per week.
