About the role
The Admissions Representative is responsible for working with prospective students. They will actively manage and service a database of prospective students including outreach, conducting admissions meetings and helping students complete the enrollment steps.
Responsibilities
- Competency: Management of prospective student database to meet and exceed daily & weekly goals along with achieving student matriculation outcomes.
- High volume daily outreach to prospective inquiries should result in rapport and relationship building, setting appointments, conducting admissions meetings and helping students apply to and matriculate to the college.
- Consistent follow-up with applicants to complete enrollment steps and address any concerns or needs.
- Behaves as a RMCAD ambassador and embraces our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, customer service, and compliance.
- Continually seeks out knowledge to improve product awareness and provide a superior level of service.
- Utilizes available RMCAD tools and resources to enhance the prospective student and community experience.
- Participation in recruiting events and activities as assigned by the Admissions Enrollment Manager.
- Procurement of student referrals through strong relationship building.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years' experience in student facing roles related to admissions, recruitment, higher education or sales.
- Track record of exceeding individual and team goals.
- Genuine excitement for people, education, technology, and arts industries.
- Self-motivated, adaptive, resilient, and embody integrity, always willing to do the right thing.
- Dynamic and innovative personality with strong desire to connect with people.
- Possess strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excel at face-to-face and phone communication in both “one-on-one” and large group environments.
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and oral), comfortable with calling campaigns in addition to building bridges across all college departments through collaboration and understanding.
- Open to coaching, is non-defensive and always seeking to improve. Displays characteristics consistent with being highly accountable to results.
