Admissions Representative
About the role
We're seeking a highly motivated admissions representative to join our Dallas Online Campus. This role involves working with prospective students interested in our accredited degree and diploma programs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Contacts and interviews prospective students and assists them through the admissions process.
- Completes all admissions-related training programs and demonstrates thorough knowledge of admissions-related policies and procedures.
- Provides accurate and complete information about the campus and its programs to prospective students.
- Responds to questions from prospective and enrolling students, focusing on providing information rather than detailed discussions about financial aid.
- Sets appointments and conducts interviews with prospective students.
- Counsels students during campus tours.
- Aids applicants in completing application and enrollment paperwork and ensures accuracy and timeliness.
- Represents the campus at job fairs and other events as needed.
- Shares only approved advertising and program materials with prospective students.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but four (4) or more years of continuous experience in a relevant position in sales, customer service, or management can substitute for the educational requirement. Registration or licensure may be required based on applicable state regulations and/or accreditation standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Phone work is a significant part of the job. Flexibility and integrity are also critical qualities.
