Admissions Representative

About the Role

The Admissions Representative is responsible for successfully recruiting certificate and degree-seeking students for their assigned group of programs at The Chicago School. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the admissions process, from initial contact through enrollment. Admissions Representatives assigned to a specific campus will have on-campus responsibilities and must be present at that location. The ability to work evenings and weekends is required, as is occasional domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new students for assigned programs, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the admissions process.
• Complete a high volume of outbound calls daily to reach prospective students, following established scripts and policies.
• Respond quickly to new student inquiries and maintain consistent communication with all assigned prospective students.
• Conduct telephone-based, virtual, and in-person consultations to qualify prospective students, explain academic programs, advise on admission requirements, and ensure proper completion of admission paperwork.
• Maintain the Salesforce database through inquiry management, proper documentation, logging of calls and activities, and a purposeful contact strategy.
• Represent the university professionally in telephone-based, virtual, and in-person meetings and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Computer skills, including experience using customer relationship management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous admissions experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

This opportunity is budgeted at $24.10–$25.64 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
