Admissions Representative
About the Role
As an Admissions Representative, you will call potential students using inquiries from advertising and Representative Generated Referrals. You will conduct Career Consultations, arrange campus visits, and guide candidates through the admissions process while adhering to the Admission Code of Ethics. This role involves evaluating and resolving student inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide information to potential students about programs, including entrance requirements, curriculum, and academic standards.
- Ensure at least 50% of first-time scheduled appointments result in attendance.
- Make 100 outbound calls to prospective students daily.
- Follow up on inquiries from students who fail to schedule, attend, enroll, or start.
- Conduct career planning sessions in compliance with company policy, including Financial Aid references.
- Provide campus tours to prospective students.
- Complete enrollment forms, schedule Financial Aid appointments, and ensure at least 60% of Financial Aid appointments arrive prepared with necessary documents.
- Develop and implement a plan to generate an average of four Representative Generated Referrals (RGR) weekly from current and prospective students.
- Ensure all pre-start paperwork is completed.
- Maintain accurate and current reports.
- Attend Open Houses and other required events.
- Participate in product knowledge training sessions as scheduled.
- Comply with all governmental regulations, accreditation standards, and Admissions Department policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must complete a one-day shadowing of another Admissions Representative to be eligible for hire.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Computer literacy, including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required).
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent (Preferred).
- Training or experience in public speaking (Preferred).
- Previous counseling, customer service, or business experience in or out of the education industry (Preferred).
Physical Demands
The role requires professional office and higher education environment activities, such as communicating with students and staff, demonstrating procedures, and moving between classrooms and offices. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are expected. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
