About the role
We are seeking a results-driven, student-focused Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and skilled at guiding prospective students toward informed, life-changing academic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
- Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
- Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
- Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
- Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Associates' or higher degree preferred
- Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios
- One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences; excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment; proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems; a positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
