About the Role

The Admissions Representative provides customer service and information to prospective students interested in pursuing career education and training. This position involves conducting outbound and inbound communications, hosting campus tours, facilitating enrollments, and supporting students throughout their educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound and inbound telephone calls, texts, and emails; respond timely to all inquiries.
  • Share information with prospective students within the framework of Ancora Education’s Code of Conduct, state, and federal accreditation guidelines.
  • Schedule campus visits, conduct tours, and facilitate registrations.
  • Follow up with new students to ensure a positive transition to active student status.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and collaborate with diverse groups of employees and customers.

Requirements

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver consistent energy and enthusiasm.
  • Thrives in an observation/coaching-style environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle frequent interruptions while working independently.
  • Competent in priority setting and fostering creativity.
  • Strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and industry-related software applications.

Qualifications

  • Preferred:
    • Associate’s degree in a related area from an accredited academic institution.
    • Track record of success in a high-volume customer service setting.
    • Experience with CampusVue and/or Velocify software.
  • Required:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
