ADMISSIONS REP/REGISTRAR (PER DIEM)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register all incoming patients and their representatives.
• Ensure accurate recording and processing of necessary admission information while maintaining confidentiality within HIPAA guidelines.
• Support the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care.
• Comprehensive understanding of patient admission processes.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing and patient accounting systems.
• HIPAA and PCI compliance required.
• Insurance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Some positions may require bilingual interpretation and translation skills.
