Admissions Relationship Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
About Alpha
Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable results. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, self-directed learning, and practical skill development. The model is effective—but only when matched with appropriate families.
About the Role
You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with application and concluding with enrollment. This is not a role where responsibilities are passed between departments. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the educational model, and whether enrollment decisions rest on sound reasoning. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate substantive discussions, and advocate for rejection when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not maximizing enrollment numbers. The objective is ensuring alignment.
We welcome candidates from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: selective private institutions, competitive programs, premium hospitality, executive services, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and reliable follow-through. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where confidence, discretion, and experiential quality define the brand, this position will resonate.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning initial contact through final onboarding.
- Facilitating needs-based conversations to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or suggesting further steps.
- Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across varying enrollment stages, maintaining transparent tracking of status and follow-up actions.
- Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.
What You Won't Be Doing
- Deploying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
- Accepting families who lack alignment merely to satisfy enrollment targets.
- Overseeing a sizable team or operating within complex approval hierarchies.
- Distributing accountability for the family experience across multiple departments.
- Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver a high-integrity, highly selective enrollment process that secures the right families while safeguarding the standards and outcomes of the Alpha model.
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership, or independently operated services).

- Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you advised against your offering when alignment was absent.
- Professional written correspondence experience with senior leadership, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
- Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Malibu, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Santa Barbara, CA.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience within selective private school admissions or competitive program recruitment.
- Background in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
