Lyngblomsten, a 225-bed care center in Saint Paul near Como Park, is seeking a Full Time Admissions Nurse. The position pays $35.95 to $46.80 per hour, with actual rates depending on factors like FTE, skills, knowledge, education, experience, and market conditions. Lyngblomsten is an award-winning Christian nonprofit committed to serving older adults through healthcare, housing, and community services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admissions and discharges on a busy Transitional Care Unit
• Conducts new patient intake, reviewing and inputting physician admission orders, facility protocols, initial assessments, and unit orientation
• Completes discharge paperwork, reviewing with the patient and/or responsible party and ensuring coordination of services
• Maintains superior customer service, demonstrating mental and emotional resilience, sensitivity, diplomacy, sound judgment, and professionalism when interacting with patients, families, partners, and colleagues
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in Minnesota
• Must be CPR certified
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
