About the role
Responsible for admitting patients to the hospital, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria and are properly registered.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Verify patient identification and insurance information.
- Ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Handle inquiries from patients and their families regarding admission processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current North Carolina RN license.
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
