Responsibilities
- Manage the Admissions Department to meet occupancy and revenue requirements.
- Partner with community’s, SNF management, and external business development to execute sales and community business plans.
- Facilitate triage of new inquiries and referrals to expedite admissions and pre-admissions conversions.
- Coordinate pre-admission and admission processes with interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain awareness and management of bed status/availability at all times.
- Ensure room readiness.
- Respond quickly and effectively to referral requests.
- Act as liaison between referral sources, Brookdale, and the community.
- Ensure compliance and input into all referral portals, PacIQ and PCC CRM/ Document Manager for proper data tracking/trending.
- Communicate overview of upcoming admissions to interdisciplinary team to ensure equipment needs, clinical snapshot, doctors, diagnosis, anticipated LOS, post-skilled disposition, and special needs are met.
- Ensure appropriate supplies and marketing materials are available, ordered as needed, and within the department budget.
- Conduct tours for prospective patients and/or family members.
- Sell community benefits, answer questions, and obtain information about patients through discovery to offer solutions.
- Maintain budgeted occupancy and quality mix for skilled nursing communities.
- Provide reporting and forecasting to Healthcare Administrator, Executive Director, Regional Sales, Operations Teams, and Business Development Teams, as requested.
- Represent the rehab/SNF in appropriate community, market, or strategic sales meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or other related field required.
- Minimum five years professional experience in sales and marketing, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity required.
- Strong sales ability essential.
- Healthcare experience desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
