Admissions Director

Responsibilities

• Manage the Admissions process for incoming and prospective residents
• Manage census levels for the facility
• Manage one Marketer who builds and maintains relationships with hospitals, external businesses, outside vendors, and community organizations
• Manage the admissions process efficiently to ensure a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff
• Respond to all inquiries regarding potential residents of the facility in a sensitive, courteous, and competent manner
• Participate in the ongoing process of Quality Improvement to improve upon the service, standards, and processes of the facility
• Ensure all required daily, weekly, monthly census and activity reports are completed

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare or SNF marketing
• At least 2 years of experience within the Healthcare and Admissions process for Skilled Nursing Facilities
• Supervisory experience
• Experience verifying financial assets, insurance coverage, i.e Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance eligibility, and confidential medical information
• Excellent communication skills
• Personable and outgoing
