This position is reported to the Office of Admissions within the Office of Student and Academic Services. The role supports and executes strategic recruitment initiatives, requiring approximately 75% travel to various locations including community colleges, universities, high schools, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities
- Represent the University and School of Nursing in recruiting students and presenting to internal and external constituents.
- Guide prospective students through recruitment and pre-admissions advisement, including application processes and deadlines.
- Create awareness about the University, its programs, and scholarship opportunities among students, counselors, and alumni.
- Independently plan, coordinate, and represent the school at national, regional, and local recruitment activities (e.g., community college visits, high school programs, hospital visits, conferences, and college fairs).
- Analyze, screen, verify, and evaluate admissions applications and transcript materials, maintaining files and record systems.
- Facilitate and conduct interviews with prospective students.
- Maintain daily tracking of prospective students and applicants.
- Participate in open houses, onsite school/hospital visits, and other recruitment events.
- Prepare reports on admission statistics and enrollment development research.
- Provide recommendations for improving recruitment strategies and policy/procedure changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with Clery Act requirements as a designated Campus Security Authority (CSA) member.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One (1) year of experience in admissions, student enrollment, or a related field.
- Knowledge of position requirements, regulations, and applicable laws.
- Skill in using applicable technology/systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently.

Pay
$49,000.00 - $55,500.00, commensurate with education and experience.
