About the role
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for supporting the university's mission by recruiting prospective students and providing guidance on the admissions process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to high school counselors and community organizations to promote the university’s admission programs.
- Interview prospective students and families to provide personalized guidance on the admissions process.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless application and enrollment experience.
- Stay updated on admission policies and procedures, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in higher education or related fields preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
