ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR
KeyStone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention.
- Make initial contact with referral sources and potential patients.
- Coordinate the referral and intake process.
- Determine appropriate level of care.
- Facilitate the admission process.
- Maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field (Master’s preferred).
- Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with substance abuse and dual diagnosis population preferred.
