About the role
Join our dynamic team as an Admissions Counselor. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the recruitment and support of prospective students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to high school counselors and community organizations to promote university programs and initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment and retention rates among diverse student populations.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide comprehensive support services to admitted students.
- Manage applications and admissions processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Communicate regularly with students and families through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
- Assist with special events and orientations to welcome new students and their families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, counseling, or related field.
- Experience in higher education or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
