About the role

Join our dynamic team as an Admissions Counselor. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the recruitment and support of prospective students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to high school counselors and community organizations to promote university programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment and retention rates among diverse student populations.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide comprehensive support services to admitted students.
  • Manage applications and admissions processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Communicate regularly with students and families through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Assist with special events and orientations to welcome new students and their families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in higher education, counseling, or related field.
  • Experience in higher education or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of college admission processes and best practices.
  • Experience with online platforms and databases.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
