Admissions Counsellor (US Colleges)

About the role

Strategy Consultants (Admissions Counsellors) at Crimson Education are responsible for providing personalized admissions strategies to students, collaborating with the Crimson team to develop and execute these strategies, and maintaining regular communication with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement individualized plans for students, working closely with the Crimson team
• Maintain expertise in high school curricula, extracurricular activities, summer programs, and standardized test planning to provide informed recommendations
• Guide students and parents towards attainable school goals, assisting them in creating lists of best-fit schools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a top 20 US university or Oxbridge (with special consideration for those with admissions consulting backgrounds)
• Strong preference for experience with US/UK undergraduate admissions consulting
• Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives
• Superior planning and organizational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, and product management is a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and admissions consulting is preferred

Pay

$100,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and location

Schedule

Full-time position available, with options for remote or office-based work. Part-time positions (25-30+ hours) are also considered for candidates with high-demand backgrounds.
