About the role
The Admissions Coordinator plays a key role in welcoming new residents and ensuring a smooth transition into our facility.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.
- Conduct facility tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents and responsible parties.
- Explain facility services clearly and professionally.
- Receive, review, and respond to admission inquiries via phone, email, fax, and in person.
- Gather information from referrals and prepare summaries for team review.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Wellness Nurse to determine admission suitability.
- Follow up with newly admitted residents to ensure a positive transition and satisfaction with services.
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Compensation
$25–$29 per hour
Requirements
- 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in a long-term care setting (supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs.
- Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, and insurability under the company’s insurance policy.
- Able to represent the company ethically and professionally while maintaining accountability.
