Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to admission inquiries
- Communicate with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and families
- Assist with coordinating new admissions and resident intake processes
- Review referral information and gather required documentation
- Provide tours of the facility to prospective residents and families
- Explain services, amenities, and rehabilitation programs offered at Fairview
- Maintain accurate records and follow-up communications
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and community referral sources
- Collaborate closely with nursing, social work, and administration teams
- Aid with insurance verification and admission paperwork when needed
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives
- Support the admissions team with daily operational tasks
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Previous Admissions, Healthcare, Customer Service, Or Sales Experience (Preferred)
- Nursing home or rehabilitation center experience (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable speaking with families during stressful situations
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of basic computer systems and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
