Supervisory Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise Admission Clerk positions.
- Be knowledgeable of job duties of the department.
Duties
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise Admission Clerk positions.
- Be knowledgeable of job duties of the department.
- Receive, process, and respond to incoming client referrals.
- Conduct screening interviews and admissions.
- Ensure confidentiality release forms are signed by each new admission and included in the client’s chart.
- Seek appropriate input and evaluation from the Clinical Director, clinical staff and other agency staff or consultants.
- Monitor funds allocated from each funding source and schedule admissions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and updated statistical information regarding screening and admissions.
- Report to Director of Programming and applicable program staff any unique or exceptional referral to any of the programs.
- Participate in quality assurance, utilization review committee meetings and studies, and Professional Staff Organization meetings.
- Conduct pre-certifications with insurance companies and designated state-funding sources and maintain UR log.
- May provide direct treatment services such as focused group sessions, lectures, discussions, and workshops for clients and their families.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience working with co-occurring disorders or a Master’s level/licensed mental health clinician with experience working with substance abuse disorders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of counseling or assessment experience.
- LADAC eligibility.
