Responsibilities

• Coordinating aspects of the admissions process
• Efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls
• Processing of referrals for possible admission
• Knowledge of and communication with referral sources and customers who present for assessment
• Insurance verification/precertification
• Patient registration process
• Vitals
• Wanding
• Patient observations
• Scheduling of evaluations
• Admissions processing
• Bed board monitoring
• Other non-clinical duties as assigned by admissions leadership team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human resources, or related human services field
• A minimum of one year of experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting, performing administrative duties, crisis intervention, telephonic triage and inquiries, and customer service
