Responsibilities
- Entry of academic history into Banner student information system of all coursework taken at other accepted, accredited institutions, as well as all test-based college credit (AP, CLEP , IB, DANTES ) and military evaluations.
- Entry of admission and readmission applications into banner.
- Generating Transfer Equivalency Worksheets and entering all transfer equivalencies in consultation with admission officers.
- Solicitation of student information.
- Entering admission decisions.
- Corresponding with students concerning the proof of West Virginia or metro residency, Social Security number verification and other admission-related issues.
- Participating in events.
- Assisting with data entry, general processing responsibilities, oversight of assigned areas of admission-related functions.
- Assisting applicants in person, by phone and by email.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Banner Student Information System.
