Admissions Assistant III

About the Role

This position involves the entry of academic history into the Banner student information system, including all coursework from accepted, accredited institutions, test-based college credit (AP, CLEP, IB, DANTES), and military evaluations. It also includes the entry of admission and readmission applications into Banner.

Responsibilities

• Generate Transfer Equivalency Worksheets.
• Enter all transfer equivalencies in consultation with admission officers.
• Solicit student information and enter admission decisions.
• Correspond with students regarding proof of West Virginia or metro residency, Social Security number verification, and other admission-related issues.
• Serve as an active and enthusiastic member of the Admissions team by participating in events and assisting with data entry and general processing responsibilities.
• Oversee assigned areas of admission-related functions.
• Assist applicants in person, by phone, and by email.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
