About the Role
As a Social Services Admissions Assistant, you will support the Director of Admissions in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation nursing center. You will work closely with the Director of Admissions Manager to welcome and admit new residents and patients, complete documents related to psychosocial assessments, care plans, and discharge plans, and ensure a comfortable and overall positive experience is achieved while completing treatment plans.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, dayshift.

Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with insurance authorizations and Admissions.
- One year supervised social work experience working directly with individuals in a health care setting.
- One or more years’ experience in health care education/marketing/insurance or commensurate education preferred.
- Must be familiar with medical terminology.
- Proficient in the use of personal computer.
