About the role
Join our dynamic team as an Admissions Assistant and play a vital role in the timely conversion of referrals to admissions, and facilitating an effective resident/patient admission process. They report to the Admissions Director.
Responsibilities
- Assist Admissions Director with managing the admissions and inquiry process
- Conduct facility tours
- Ensure appropriate admissions paperwork/signatures are obtained prior to admitting new patients
- Continuously maintain a high level of customer service
Requirements
- Maintain a working knowledge of both Federal and State regulations and reimbursement
- High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
- 2+ years of experience in an Admissions/Marketing position in healthcare environment - long term care experience required
- Possess knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing as well as knowledge of medical terminology (to discuss clinical evaluations with physicians and other care givers within facility)
- Reliable transportation

Pay
USD $21.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Schedule
Full-time schedule is offered.
