Job Summary

We are now hiring a Part-Time Receptionist (Saturday & Sunday) to join our team. This position requires 2-4 years of related experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment, understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs, a valid driver’s license, and a clear DMV record.

About the Role

As an Admissions Assistant, you will work in coordination with the Business Development function to attract suitable candidates for admission and integrate them seamlessly into the system. You will establish and maintain a constant working relationship with all potential referral sources, conduct tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents/responsible parties, and explain all facility services.

Responsibilities

  • Extracts information from referrals and completes information sheets for team review.
  • Reviews admissions for suitability with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Business Office Manager, as appropriate, for admissions decisions.
  • Works in coordination with the Business Development function to attract suitable candidates for admission and integrate them seamlessly into the system.
  • Establishes and maintains a constant working relationship with all potential referral sources.
  • Conducts tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents/responsible parties and explains all facility services.

Requirements

  • Must have 2-4 years of related experience in a long-term care or a skilled nursing environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear DMV record, and be insurable under Company's insurance policy.
  • Must have compassion toward residents and their families.
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with specialization in marketing, communications, or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Customer Service / Receptionist experience is preferred.
  • Strong background in skilled nursing care is preferred.

Pay

Compensation for roles varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by state or local law, we provide a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that we reasonably expect to pay for roles, as stated above.

Schedule

The Admissions Assistant works part-time on Saturdays and Sundays.
