About the role

The ideal candidate will have college-level admissions experience, strong interpersonal skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager will proactively manage the admissions process for all program specializations at Berklee NYC.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead admissions communication via e-mail and telephone with prospective inquiries and applicants concerning BNYC programs and application procedures.
  • Oversee and manage the admissions data process, creating regular reports to evaluate applicant trends, pipeline health, and enrollment progress.
  • Process, manage, and maintain all applicants' materials through input and data linking within various systems.
  • Populate, track, and communicate applicant data to Program Directors, Executive Director for BNYC, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations (demographics, trends) using data from multiple systems, including visualizations and summaries for internal use.
  • Organize and manage all BNYC admissions and enrollment events throughout the admissions and enrollment cycle such as open houses, nurture events, and campus tours.
  • Communicate closely with Program Directors, supporting them with applicant communication and tracking throughout the year. Drives the nurturing of viable candidates through the admissions process.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all program specializations, and confidently communicate program offerings and value to prospective students and applicants.
  • Supervise 1 student employee to carry out office management and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or commensurate experience
  • 2-3 years of work experience
  • Professional experience in higher education admissions
  • Knowledge of and experience with college computer systems highly desirable
  • Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty
  • Ability to work effectively within an ethnic, cultural, and socially diverse student population
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential
  • Possess a positive attitude and great team spirit
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to meet a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and/or weekends

Benefits
