Admissions Advisor
Site location: Concordia University Irvine - ABSN Campus, 10750 Fourth St. Suite 200, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. Work is required 100% onsite for the first six months, then transitions to one work-from-home day per week, with additional remote days possible over time.
About the role
Join Orbis Education and help Nursing students succeed as an Admission Advisor. This mixed remote and in-office role involves overseeing the student admission process, providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, and promoting student success and institutional enrollment growth.
A typical week includes managing phone calls, emails, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions, while working autonomously or collaboratively with a supportive team. You’ll champion the University mission through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Responsibilities
- Work autonomously, both remotely and in-office, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Manage competing priorities, including phone calls, emails, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions.
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students through various communication channels (in-person, phone, email).
- Champion the University mission to promote student success and institutional enrollment growth.
- Collaborate with team members, leadership, and partner universities to support student admissions.
- Develop and nurture relationships with a diverse range of prospective students and partners.
- Utilize digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, to execute work and maintain accountability.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required. Exceptions may be considered with employee education benefits.
- Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Clear communication skills, comfortable interacting in-person, in writing, and on the phone.
- Self-motivated to learn, implement feedback, and shorten the learning curve.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for diverse student circumstances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM tools (preferred).
Skills

Pay
Starting salary: $50,000 annually ($24.04/hour, non-exempt).
Schedule
Target hire dates: August 31 or October 5, 2026.
