Admission Discharge RN

Responsibilities

• Collaborates, communicates, and facilitates optimal provision of care onsite through a computerized &/or digital platform.
• Provides professional nursing care with collaboration from the bedside nurse through two-way audio/visual technology.
• Performs assessments of vital signs and monitors data through specialized software.
• Assists with conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, and maintaining medical records.
• Coaches and mentors department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice.
• Assumes leadership responsibilities, including leading unit and shared governance activities, serving as charge nurse as needed, assessing unit needs, and coordinating unit and hospital-wide education.
• Improves nurse satisfaction by serving as a role model and mentor, facilitating teamwork with RNs, non-licensed, and interprofessional staff.

Requirements

• Two years of acute care experience as a RN.
• Comfortable using advanced technology.
• Unencumbered RN license.

Pay

• This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
• This job will be authorized 48.00 hours bi-weekly.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Working Hours: 0630-1900
