Schedule

- Day shift (10AM-10PM)
Responsibilities
- Discusses facility core measures during handoff communication
- Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to solve admission and discharge problems
- Collects comprehensive patient medical history
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with patients and their families
- Provides family members with information about patient condition and plan of care
- Promotes a positive patient experience by demonstrating caring behaviors, maintaining clear communication, and collaborating with the care team to provide safe, timely, and effective whole person care
- Follows hospital policies and procedures, making ethical decisions based on consent and confidentiality
- Collaborates with nursing staff and attending physicians in establishing patient admission and discharge processes
- Ensures compliance with healthcare admission policies and regulations
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients
- Manages all aspects of patient admission and discharge processes
- Prepares, completes, and registers patient admissions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required]
- Related experience [Required]
Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
Pay
$33.99 - $63.22 per hour
