Salary Range: $46,000.00 - $48,000.00. Full-time, hybrid (Tier 2) position. Work on campus 3 days per week and remotely 2 days per week during reading season. During travel seasons, school vacation weeks, event weeks, and special events, this position will be fully in-person and on campus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in and be responsible for all aspects of the admission and recruitment process, including fall and spring domestic recruitment travel (high school and community college visits, college fairs, area receptions, and events).
- Counsel prospective students and families throughout the college application and selection process.
- Assist guidance professionals, faculty, alumni, and prospective students and families to better understand the college's mission through personal interviews, group presentations, and extensive follow-up communication.
- Conduct thorough application reviews of admission materials and provide decisions in a timely fashion.
- Assist in recruitment-related events both on- and off-campus, representing the college with professionalism.
- Serve as a collaborative member of the admission team, managing a recruitment territory to achieve enrollment goals.
- Provide proactive, thorough, and timely information to students about the admission process, financial aid, costs, academic programs, and student experience.
- Follow up with students and parents via phone, text, email, and letters.
- Meet quantitative and qualitative departmental goals for inquiries, applications, admitted, and enrolled students through application completion, review, and conversion for assigned territory.
- Conduct admission presentations and interviews for visitors during on-campus and off-campus events.
- Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedule, travel, special programs, and professional development.
- May focus on international student or transfer student recruitment based on candidate's experience.
- Work with current students, staff, faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders to support student recruitment.
- Contribute to the overall success of the enrollment program and the university by performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in a similar capacity within higher education or a related industry.
- Knowledge of Slate by Technolutions (enrollment management software) and MS Professional software packages is preferred.
- Must have a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License for one year and maintain an insurable or satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
Schedule
Workdays: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Evening and weekend work required during specific times of the year.
