About the role

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for driving student recruitment and enrollment. Manages a caseload of prospective students, leads recruitment efforts within assigned territories, and provides personalized admissions support through to academic handoff. Works closely with campus teams to ensure coverage for events and contributes to training and development across the recruitment team.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Outreach:
    • Lead territory-based recruitment efforts through high school visits, college fairs, and campus events.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with counselors, community partners, and external organizations.
    • Represent the college at public engagements to promote enrollment when asked.
  • Admissions Processing:
    • Interview with new students, provide career advisement, assist students with the full admissions process, and review student applications for admission.
    • Provide guidance on admissions requirements, financial aid, and possible scholarships.
    • Use CRM/SIS systems to track, document, and communicate with prospective students using the provided contact strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred OR an associate degree with four (4) years of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in student recruitment, enrollment, and/or retention initiatives in a post-secondary setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of higher education student services, including admissions and registration procedures, preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and student information platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students and provide accurate and sound academic and career advice.
  • Strong communication, organizational, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Skilled in handling confidential records with discretion.
  • Valid driver’s license or mode of transport.
  • Requires frequent travel within assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands

This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 30 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying files, ledgers. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met. While primarily office-based, the role may occasionally involve outdoor activities.

Pay

Pay range starts at: $41,382.38. All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience.
