About the role
The Administrator in Training (A.I.T.) position prepares individuals for the role of Administrator through guided learning experiences. The A.I.T. will achieve competence and familiarity with PruittHealth’s policies and procedures to support assigned offices upon completion of training.
Responsibilities
- Observe and become familiar with all aspects of running a PruittHealth Healthcare Center location.
- Complete each module of the A.I.T. program and receive a satisfactory evaluation for each module.
- Maintain sound customer service principles.
- Complete all assigned projects in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate daily with an assigned preceptor.
- Perform other administrative tasks and related duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Preceptor or Regional Vice President.
- Assist, if needed, in center/agency surveys (Licensure/JCAHO) and any required reports.
- Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to stay current in the field and maintain licensure/certification.
- Attend mandatory in-services.
- Honor patients/residents’ rights to fair treatment, self-determination, privacy, and property.
- Comply with the corporate compliance program.
- Report job-related functions involving occupational hazards.
- Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a Healthcare field preferred.
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs and from the use or effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
- No history of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment of individuals in a healthcare setting (as determined by a court of law).
- Satisfactory results of a criminal history check and Office of the Inspector General Sanction Check.
- Valid licensure (as applicable) or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Skills
- Proficiency with computers, phone systems, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
Other Considerations
- This is a sedentary position with minimal physical exertion required.
- Rarely required to lift objects.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed.
Schedule
Full-time, 1st Shift.

Primary location: Georgia-Norcross. Other locations: Georgia-Atlanta, North Carolina-Raleigh, Florida-Pensacola.
