About the role
NHS Management, LLC is seeking motivated, high-potential individuals to join our Administrator in Training (AIT) Program. This is a unique opportunity to develop into a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and grow into a leadership role within one of the Southeast’s leading long-term care management companies.
Responsibilities
- Learn the full scope of nursing home operations including clinical services, financial management, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
- Train directly under seasoned administrators and regional leadership.
- Develop and refine leadership skills to manage diverse teams and drive organizational excellence.
- Gain hands-on experience in staff development, community relations, and strategic planning.
- During the first year, work and learn in several different departments in various facilities across the state (e.g., from Athens to Mobile).
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong leadership characteristics and the drive to inspire teams.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with staff, residents, and families.
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Individuals with a concentration in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or Business Management are preferred.
- Having held or currently holding leadership positions (e.g., sorority/fraternity, class officer, club officer, or athletic background) will set you up for success in this role.
