Responsibilities
- Participate in hands-on training experiences across all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of facility operations.
- Support administrators and department leaders with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth, efficient facility operations.
- Learn to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives that support quality care and operational excellence.
- Monitor compliance with all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with residents, families, staff, visitors, and external agencies in a professional, respectful, and solution-oriented manner.
- Observe and contribute to leadership decision-making processes, meetings, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop skills in problem-solving, communication, and team leadership through active participation and mentorship.
- Support initiatives that promote resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Must have completed at least 60 semester hours of education from an accredited college or university.
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within healthcare administration.
