About the Role

Volare Health LLC is seeking a dedicated professional who is working towards obtaining their Administrative License to learn and grow with our facility under the supervision of our current Administrator. This role is based at the Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, OR. Candidates who are current residents of Oregon will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 6-to-12-month Administrator in Training (AIT) program, gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day responsibilities of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
  • Work under the supervision of a preceptor at an assigned facility, engaging in each department to understand operations.
  • Attend classroom modules on leadership and prepare for the State and Federal Nursing Home Administrator exams.
  • Complete 960 hours of supervised training as part of the AIT program.
  • Apply for and maintain registration in the AIT program, ensuring completion within 6 months to 2 years.
  • Comply with all Company safety policies, regulations, and requirements, including fire and life safety, employee safety, and patient safety.
  • Understand, comply with, and promote all rules and regulations regarding residents' rights.
  • Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in Oregon and be available to travel locally as needed.
  • Must be available to work 1-2 days per weekend as part of the regular schedule.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills, including email use.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and government regulators, and work cooperatively with associates at all levels.
  • Enrollment in an AIT program is required.
  • Meet all local health regulations and pass pre-employment physical exam, drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
  • Previous experience as a department head in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
  • Passionate about seniors and helping them live their best lives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
  • Enrollment in an AIT program.

Pay

Starting at $65,000/YR+

Schedule

Full-time, including 1-2 weekend days as part of the regular schedule.
