Responsibilities

As an Administrator in Training (AIT), you will learn via hands-on experiences that fully submerge you in the day-to-day responsibilities of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This program is a 6-12 month long training course and involves working with a preceptor at an assigned Marquis facility, working in each department, attending additional classroom modules on leadership, and preparing you for the State and Federal Nursing Home Administrator exams.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience as a department manager in Staffing, Admissions, and/or Social Services in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
  • Have resilience and the ability to motivate others.
  • Able to have difficult conversations with respect and fortitude.
  • Passionate about seniors and helping them live the best rest of their lives!
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications
