About the role

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking a motivated and career-driven Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our leadership team. This is a paid training program designed to prepare you for a successful career as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). If you're ready to grow into a leadership role with hands-on experience, structured development, and 1:1 mentorship from an experienced Administrator, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Clinical and operational leadership
• Regulatory compliance and survey readiness
• Staff management, coaching, and team development
• Financial operations and budgeting
• Admissions, census development, and community outreach
• Driving quality outcomes and resident satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Active interest in becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
• Ability to obtain LNHA licensure in the state of Iowa upon program completion
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing others (healthcare experience preferred)

Pay

Starting salary of $60,000–$75,000 during the AIT program, based on experience. Opportunity for advancement and increased earning potential upon LNHA licensure and program completion. Paid AIT program – earn while you train.
