Responsibilities
- Maintains high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
- Maintains proactive and open working relationships with all ministries and all levels of management
- Manages complex corporate property portfolios involving property management, health care law (preferred), not-for-profit law and real property acquisitions
- Budget management, planning and decision making
- Leadership of project initiatives with demonstrated experience with contract analysis
- Interprets, explains and applies policies and procedures related to property management
- Applies mathematical computations accurately; ability to compute ratio, percent and proration
- Reads, interprets and records data accurately
- Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Prioritizes multiple projects within a defined or limited timeline
- Maintains valid NYS driver's license; travel between CHS organizations required
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree, (property management, business, legal studies/paralegal degree preferred) or Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience managing complex corporate property portfolios involving property management, health care law (preferred), not-for-profit law and real property acquisitions
- Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Real Property lease interpretation, evaluation and preparation; Building management practices; Critical thinking skills and strong multitasking abilities; Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail; Possesses strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills; Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex details to all levels of senior management; Prepares and maintains clear and accurate accounting and statistical reports for Director of CH Corporate & Physician Enterprise Real Estate; Works independently with minimal support/peer staffing; Assists in maintaining computerized accounting system; General office practices, methods and equipment; Responds proactively to tenant requests and complaints; Maintains familiarity with healthcare functions, operations and related support systems; Research and analytical skills; Applies mathematical computations accurately; Ability to compute ratio, percent and proration; Follows written and oral instructions; Provides superior customer service
