ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
Organizes and maintains files, which includes creating and maintaining confidential department/employee files; filing documents alphabetically, numerically, or by other prescribed methods.
Composes a variety of standard and/or specialized correspondence, reports, documents, applications, forms, memos, and/or other applicable materials.
May review and reconcile travel expenses; ensures compliance with travel policies.
Collections and reviews data for accuracy and reasonableness.
Calculates, accepts, and receipts non-routine payments.
Interacts in a positive manner on internal and external requests.
Maintains detailed records of department files.
Aids in solving issues that may arise.
Completes lower level administrative duties within area of assignment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Two years of customer service or office experience and specialized departmental knowledge or training
- Valid Driver's License as per State law or requirement

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Work Environment
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock
- Noisy environment
