Administrative Supervisor - Registered Nurse

About the role

Provides clinical leadership and operational oversight as a House Supervisor during overnight shifts in a pediatric hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and monitors nursing and support staff
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff
• Manages patient flow and supports emergency responses
• Leads incident command during disasters or emergencies
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care
• Addresses patient and family complaints
• Participates in staff hiring, training, and development
• Ensures safety and compliance with hospital policies
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of experience demonstrating leadership
• Valid RN license in the respective state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Physical ability to perform movements such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Schedule

Night shift role with varied scheduled days, including holiday coverage. No on-call duties required.
