About the role

The Administrative Specialist II Supervisor is responsible for overseeing administrative tasks within the department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, offering training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Handle incoming correspondence and manage the department's mail system.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by the department and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with human resources systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to government agencies.
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $49,214.00 - $63,669.00/year, with potential growth to $77,620.00/year based on experience and performance.

Schedule
