About the role
Join a mission-driven team at UW–Green Bay as a part-time Administrative Services Professional, Business and Government Outreach, where your work directly advances access to education and strengthens partnerships across Northeast Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
- Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, creates events in registration software and reviews work done by others
- Maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
- Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
- Serves as a backup to the primary point of contact for individuals and groups, providing organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums
- Moderates virtual conferences and assists in the training of instructors
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and desktop software, virtual delivery platforms, website tools, social media, and the Internet
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Highly organized, flexible, self-directed individual with the ability to navigate complex virtual delivery challenges and develop new innovative approaches
- Excellent interpersonal communication and social skills necessary to navigate diverse community settings, partnerships, and individuals
- Proven problem-solving ability

Benefits
- Compensation: Minimum hourly compensation of $17.00
- Employment Type: Part-time (50%)
- Location: Based out of the Green Bay campus, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request
- Probationary Period: Six-month probationary period

Pay
Minimum hourly compensation of $17.00. This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Schedule
Position is a part-time (50%) University Staff appointment, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request.
